The forecast is for warmer temperatures, a thaw, and possibly rain at the end of the week and over the weekend.
If the forecast is correct it is highly likely that we will be on temporary greens over this period. As the green become softer on the surface but still frozen underneath there becomes high risk of damage. The leaf and root of the grass can shear/split and cause long term damage to the grass/greens. We have not been able to do any work on the bunkers this week with the sand being frozen. However, we have been able to fit the new anti slip pads to the steps around the course, these are a proven product used on many golf courses, they have a long life span and give great safety performance in wet or icy conditions.
