Mother Nature has thrown a lot at the course in recent weeks. The worst of this was the damage done to the trees by the heavy snow fall. Our green keeping team, assisted by a tree surgeon, have done a great job in making the course safe and ready for play.
The strong winds in recent days haven’t caused any damage and have really helped dry the course out. We hope to get onto the 3rd and 18th tees next week to finish them off and give them time to settle before the start of the summer playing season.
We’re also planning to get out and aerate as much of the course as possible in the next few weeks to help the grass recover from this very wet period of weather.
