Our Head Green-keeper Phil Plater will be leaving North Oxford on Friday May 11th to take up the position of Deputy Head Green-keeper at Oxford Golf Club. And on May 14th Steven Doyle will be joining us as our new Head Green-keeper. Steven is currently working as the Deputy Head Green-keeper at Oxford Golf Club.
Also our Deputy Head Green-keeper Terrence Prior will be leaving us on May 4th to return to landscape gardening. Phil has been at the club seven years and Terence for 18 months and on behalf of the club and members we have thanked them both for their loyal service and hard work and wished them all the best for the future.
On June 4th Keith Edwards will be joining us as our new Deputy Head Green-keeper. He’s currently working at Frilford Golf Club.
Both Steven and Keith have a wealth of knowledge and qualifications and between them have 35 years of experience in local green-keeping and I’m sure that you’ll all want to join me in welcoming them both to North Oxford Golf Club and in wishing them every possible success in their new positions with us.
As a club we continue to be committed to producing a high quality golf course for you to play on. The recent weather conditions have been challenging but hopefully now we can start to look forward to lovely summer playing conditions with the course in first class condition.
