Members playing the course recently will have noticed the extreme weather conditions causing the greens considerable stress and damage on the surface. Following further discussion with our agronomist we’ve reviewed our plans for greens work over the next 4-6 weeks and will NOT now carry out the large deep hollow tining that was being planned for the week beginning 10th September.
This week your green-keeping team have fed the greens. They’ll also be working each week on light surface aeration to get the greens stronger before beginning any work below the surface to improve the long term performance of the greens.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these extreme weather conditions.
