It’s been a challenging few days with the weather this past week. A large poplar tree behind the 16th green was badly damaged by the wind and so has had to been felled. Until the green-keeping team have had the chance to remove the debris please could we ask that you keep away from this area, thank you.

Following the visit of our agronomist and his recommendation for fairway aeration, we’ve been working from first to last light this week ensuring every fairway is aerated. The benefit of the aeration will soon be noticed with increased grass coverage from healthy grass root development. The very heavy bursts of rain and flooding on the course have caused some tyre damage, but this should recover very quickly.

The daffodils are out in full bloom and look spectacular, especially behind the 6th green. Please note that while they are in bloom the area behind the 6th green is out of bounds and no play is allowed within in the daffodils.
