Golf and Supper

The very popular golf and supper evening’s return on Friday May 10th, look out for the sign in sheet in the clubhouse entrance,

Club Draw

Friday 26th April, two chances to win, £500 and £200 draws. Martin Morby PGA rules official will be giving us a presentation on the new rules. Great food and fun evening, be sure to book early if you would like to eat on the night.

Captains’ Charity Day

Sunday 19th May, please support your Captains by playing in this fun day raising money for the local air ambulance service.


Friday June 14th is your opportunity to play with and see the best local golf professionals playing your golf course. Please contact the office for entry details.

AG Golf Day

On the course

Although we’re still getting frosts at night the grass has really started to grow well.

We’ve been working on the course set up and presentation, and the routine required to keep to this.  All the areas of the course are healthy and next week will be much the same, and we’ll continue to work on cutting presentation and set up for the summer season.

County Bronze Qualifier

Played at the Cotswold Club, Chipping Norton on 18th March.

Once again we have players through to the quarter-finals. Margaret Brennan (3rd) and Janet Clarke (8th) qualified to play at Henley on weekend of Sat 13th & Sun 14th April.

North Oxford ladies, Maureen Rhymes and Gill Davidson have been bronze champions for the last 2 years so there is a tradition to follow! Lorraine Watson won the prize for the best player with handicap 26 and over.

Well done North Oxford Ladies and good luck for the weekend.

Our 2019 County Girls’ Champion

On the 7th April, 2019 at Badgemore Park GC, Grace Boag-Matthews from North Oxford GC posted a fantastic gross 79, nett 64, to become our 2019 Girls’ Champion. Grace took home both the nett and gross trophies. Tia Johnstone from Kirtlington GC claimed second gross with an 81 and Allie Holtom from Henley GC won second nett with 69. Well done to everyone who played.
